What will the Riot MMO Name be?
The Riot game MMO name is not currently public. Additionally, because the game is in early development, the Riot MMO name may not have been agreed upon yet.

Tales of Runeterra
The Riot MMO could be called Tales of Runeterra. We know the Riot MMO team plans on expanding on the lore through player experience, environments, quests and more. Through the Riot MMO they can tell the ‘Tales of Runeterra’
Realm of Aurelion
Through the birth of creation, the celestials were created such as Aurelion Sol, Bard, and Zoe. Aurelion Sol was responsible for the majority of the galaxies and stars created in Runeterra Prime. Hence, we are exploring but a Realm of Aurelion Sol’s creation.
Runeverse
A witty name with a blend consisting of Runeterra and Universe. For all we know, the lore could expand beyond Runeterra Prime. Imagine one day exploring other systems established by Aurelion Sol. For now, Riot MMO fans would be happy with just Valoran and Ionia.

Age of Rune
In the future we will be players living within an age of Runeterra where magic is omnipresent as the result of the World Runes’ powers infused into the planet.
Guardians of Valoran
It’s possible Valoran will be the main continent at launch and throughout the storytelling. Although Valoran, Shurima, and the Archipelago’s encompass only 1/6 of Runeterra.
Legacy of the Aspects
The Aspects are a prominent component of Runeterra. They influence the mortals through their deity scale powers. While they do not intervene directly very often, we are playing out their legacy.
Realms of Runeterra
This Riot MMO name could be inspired by the Runeterra lore guide book, Realms of Runeterra. The name allows for further expansions and story telling.
Remnants of Runewars
It’s unclear where in the timeline the Riot MMO will begin. Nonetheless, there is a good chance it will be after the Rune Wars to play regions as we know them.
Runeterra Prime
The name, Runeterra Prime, is not an official name from Riot Games. Still, it could be a nod to the popular fan-made naming convention.
Runeterra Rising
To kick off storytelling in many new games, we often see a justification of the influx of new arrivals. This new wave could be Runeterra Rising.
Runeterra Unleashed
An epic Riot MMO name could be Runeterra Unleashed. The stories the narrative, quest, art, and teams will create are going to be a new experience unleashed.

Echoes of World Runes
The main story line could easily anchor to the aftermath of the World Runs. All events stemming from the Rune Wars simply being echoes infinite.
Eternity in Runeterra
A clever marketing name doubling as a literal descriptor of the potential for storytelling.
Rise of Runeterrans
Inhabitants of Runeterra are Runeterrans. As the influx and new adventurers arrive and place our mark, we will take over.
Roaming Runeterra
Our character will literally be roaming Runeterra, so why not?
Runeterra Reborn
Once again, with all the story telling the Riot MMO will have, it could be a new dawn of lore and exploration for everyone.
Runeterra Unborn
Conversely, the story of Runeterra has just begun.
Runewalker
As previously mentioned, players will be navigating throughout the world of Runeterra in the upcoming League of Legends MMO. We would essentially be Runewalkers.

Chronicles of Valoran
If the Riot MMO developers decide Valoran will be the central hub of storytelling, then Chronicles of Valoran could be in possible Riot MMO name.
Risen in Runeterra
When the Riot MMO is released, we expect all players will spawn somewhere in Runeterra. Given so, Risen in Runeterra as a Riot MMO title could make sense.
Runeterra Chronicles
The Riot MMO will have substantial storytelling. With that, the Runeterra Chronicles could be the name of the upcoming game.
Runeterran
Sometimes there is beauty in simplicity. Just one word. Runeterran. Because we would all be Runeterrans in the upcoming League MMO.
Targon Eternal
Mount Targon will always be a central point in Runeterra as long as the Aspects do not decide to relocate. As well, their lifespan appears to beyond comprehension.
Valoran
Valoran could be an awesome name for the upcoming Riot MMORPG. Unfortunately, its limiting given Valoran is not the only continent in Runeterra.
Valorune
A witty combination of Valoran and Runeterra. It’s unlikely the Riot MMO name will be Valorune, but development is still early.

Arcanum
Riot Games’ Arcane TV series is still in production. Arcanum would be a unique take as a name for the upcoming Lol MMORPG.
Heroes of Valoran
Heroes of Valoran is a classic sounding name for the Riot Games MMO name.
Keepers of Valor
Here, Valoran is shortened to Valor. As MMO players we will be the protectors of something. Valor and honor are archetypical virtues in storytelling.
Rituals of Runeterra
Inhabitants of Runeterra are Runeterrans. As the influx and new adventurers arrive and place our mark, we will take over.
Rise of Runeterrans
Mount Targon will always be a central point in Runeterra as long as the Aspects do not decide to relocate. As well, their lifespan appears to beyond comprehension.
Rune Wars
The Rune Wars were a historical event in Runeterra. Perhaps the story could revolve around the Rune Wars and justify this possible Riot MMO name.
Runeterra Infinite
It might not sound the most original, but it does sound like the name of a video game.
Runeterra Odyssey
League of Legends fans are anticipating the Riot MMO. Runeterra Odyssey symbolizes the long eventful journey the players will experience after launch.
Runeterra Online
Several other games have included the term, ‘Online’ after their video game title. It’s not out of the question for the Riot MMO to do so as well.
Valorian
There is a chance Riot Games decides on a unique one word name we haven’t heard of. In that case it’s improbably the name will be on this list. Nonetheless, we can still try.

Runeterra Tales
Similar to Tales of Runeterra but with that ‘ring’ to it. Also, Two of Riot’s games have ‘of’ between their names. So, Runeterra Tales might be less likely than Tales of Runeterra.
World of Runeterra
The Riot MMO name World of Runeterra sparked considerable debate. We covered Riot Games’ acquisition of the domain and our take on their actions.
Legends: Age of Valoran
It will be interesting to see if Riot Games chooses a long or short title for the Riot MMO name. Legends: Age of Valor is a possible Riot MMORPG name we couldn’t ignore.
Realm of Legends
Realm of Legends is a catch potential name for the League MMO. It’s not as relevant of some of the other Riot MMO names on this page.
Runeterra Ascended
The name Runeterra Ascended sounds memorable. The one drawback is we have Ascended God Warrior and Ascended Hosts. We think Riot Games will avoid confusion names.
Runeterra Eternal
Runeterra Eternal sounds like a powerful statement. We imagine Riot Games will release this MMO when they are confident we will devote an eternity to it.
